Prior to Murray's career in Real Estate he designed and printed all the forms used at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. This background gives him a heads up on all the paperwork required to complete a transaction, working effectively for you.

Murray is continually upgrading his Real Estate Education. Two years ago he earned his CNE designation and his latest diploma is his MCNE designation, Murray is currently the only agent in Kamloops with this honour. 

He is also a dedicated contributor to the Local Women’s Shelter which is Royal LePage’s chosen charity. All money earned goes directly to the local shelter. Murray has been in the top 10% of donors Canada wide for the past several years. When you buy or sell with him, part of his commission supports women’s shelters and violence-prevention programs.  Also Murray has proudly been a recipient of Royal LePage’s achievement awards every year since starting his career.

Murray is the hardest working realtor I know. I listed with him in a February, a messy month to have people coming in to tour. He was holding an open house and it had snowed the night before. It was unoccupied. I went early to clear the snow but he had beat me to it and had just finished. He had also brought mats to place inside the doors. Congratulations for having Murray MacRae on your Royal LePage sales team. We didn't get a reference for Murray. We're so glad that we found him by a simple phone call to view a property.

Spring 2013, we decided to move from Surrey to Kamloops. Murray guided us through several house hunting weekends over 18 months. He's a great ambassador for Kamloops. He offered a wealth of information regarding local amenities, attractions and the city's history. He was able to answer many detailed email requests for info. For our three offers, we had concerns re: the AJAX mine, flood plains, potentially obstructed views, rental suite restrictions, defects, steep ravine hazard, insurance requests etc.

His follow up work included:

• providing a tour to the proposed mine site
• showing us how to use the Kamloops on-line Properties Map identifying issues where views may be obstructed by development of new houses (pan-handle lots) or subdivision (by Marmot sanctuary)
• retrieving zoning info & engineering reports from the City of Kamloops
• identifying builder contact info; multiple home inspectors and contractors for building cement stairs, railing/gates, siding repairs, storage rental
• following up on security alarm contract and possible foundation sliding issue

We were impressed by Murray's work ethic, ability to detect not-so-obvious defects, and his friendly demeanor. Murray went "above and beyond" our expectations. We really love our new home.
